POSITION Cyber Security Engineer LOCATION : FUJAIRAH Private Estate - UAE (The Client will arrange the work visa and relocation if not local) PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Cyber Security Engineer will protect, monitor, and secure the estate's advanced digital infrastructure — including smart building systems, IoT devices, surveillance networks, and cloud-based data operations. The role ensures confidentiality, integrity, and uninterrupted availability of critical digital systems serving the Principal, family offices, and private estate technology networks. QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent Professional certifications preferred: CISSP CEH CompTIA Security CISM / CISA / Cisco CyberOps Familiarity with UAE cybersecurity regulations, NESA / DESC frameworks advantageous Cloud security certification (e.g., MS SC-200, AWS Security) beneficial EXPERIENCE & SKILLS 4-6 years professional cybersecurity experience Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Defender EDR, Sentinel, Purview Experience securing hybrid environments: on-premises, IoT, and cloud networks (AWS, Azure, GCP) Background in penetration testing, incident response, vulnerability management Firewall configuration and digital forensic investigation skills Experience in private estates, UHNW households, or luxury environments desirable KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Network & Endpoint Security Maintain firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS Monitor internal LAN/Wi-Fi for unauthorized activity Secure servers, workstations, mobile devices, CCTV NVRs, smart controls Threat Monitoring & Response Monitor threats using SIEM EDR/XDR tools (e.g., Sentinel, CrowdStrike) Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments Lead incident response and report to IT leadership Data Protection & Governance Enforce encryption, MFA, access controls Manage secure backup and ransomware defense Ensure compliance with global data privacy standards — including sensitive family data Cloud & Smart System Security Secure IoT, smart BMS, estate automation, access control Safeguard virtual networks and cloud storage environments Security Audits & Documentation Maintain logs, policies, access trails Provide security training sessions to estate staff and internal personnel Confidentiality & Discretion Exceptional integrity handling private data related to the Family, guests, and estate operations Strict adherence to confidentiality protocols START DATE ASAP SALARY up to AED 8,000 (depending on qualifications & experience) BENEFITS Shared accommodation provided Health Insurance Meals provided on duty One paid economy flight home per year 30 days paid annual leave Please note: Kindly check your junk or spam mail folders after applying, as our response to your application may occasionally be diverted there.
